Long Range
SCSA’s Long Range is open to members, day pass holders, and for match activities when an SCSA Range Safety Officer (RSO) is present. The Controlled Ranges gate must be open, and the Long Range OPEN sign must be displayed at the Controlled Ranges gate, to proceed to the Long Range. Scheduled operating hours and match dates are shown on the SCSA Calendar.
The Long Range is scheduled to be open at the following times during 2023:
Wednesdays from 5 PM to dusk beginning on April 10, 2024, and continuing through October 23, 2024.
Thursdays from 5 PM to dusk beginning April 11, 2024, and continuing through October 24, 2024.
Saturdays from 8 AM to Noon beginning April 13, 2024, and continuing through October 26, 2024 (except when closed for P.R.O. or WPR match activities (see SCSA Calendar).
The Long Range may also be open at other times when SCSA RSOs are available.
The Long Range includes:
Steel targets from 380 to 732 yards.
100-yard sight-in target board.
Bench and prone shooting positions.
