Snowshoe’T 3D Archery Match

The Snowshoe’T 3D Archery match is a chance to get out and embrace spring at the SCSA Archery Range. As the name implies this match is typically held at that time of year when special footwear could be appropriate.

The match offers Hunter, Traditional, and Youth Classes.

Prizes and raffles add to the fun. Dust off the bow and get out and shoot.

Contact the SCSA Archery Director for more information.

3D Mountain Archery Shoots

SCSA sponsors 3D Archery Shoots several times a year in venues away from the SCSA Range facilities in areas allowing archers to test their skills in environments and conditions representative of their prey. Matches may be held within the Bighorn Mountains or similar outdoor settings. Bear Lodge along Highway 14A in the Bighorn Mountains is a traditional co-sponsor of these events offering a base facility for the nearby match course.

Contact the SCSA Archery Director for more information.

Muzzleloader Pie and Turkey Shoots

SCSA offers several opportunities a year to come out to the Muzzleloader Range and attempt to take home a turkey or pie for your efforts courtesy of the Bull Shooters at the Muzzleloader Range.

These events are great fun and a good way to see just what it takes to shoot black powder firearms.

Contact the SCSA Archery Black Powder Director for more information.

Registered Trap Shoots

SCSA is part of the Amateur Trap Association (ATA) gun clubs that hold registered trap shoots.

These shoots are competitions for any person who wants to join. Each competition consists of shooting 100 singles, 100 handicap, and/or 100 doubles. People can choose to shoot all events, or just one or two.

Prizes are given for different classes and age groups. The cost to join the ATA is $20. If you are a new member, you can get your membership free from the trap director.
